Since its inception in 1988 as Lighting Dimensions International (LDI), the annual gathering of suppliers, customers, friends and colleagues has steadily grown from a small conference and trade event to the largest US tradeshow and education event for professional lighting and entertainment technology.  The percentage of professional attendees whose responsibilities include lighting continues to grow each year.  This truly reflects the continued strength and dominance that LDI has in the lighting marketplace today.  In addition, changes in technology in recent years have resulted in an explosion of projection technologies.  LDI is proud to continue its legacy as a forerunner in education, technology and market innovation by providing a forum for the showcase of all entertainment technologies that has spanned 25 years.
